Hilltop Vejer de la Frontera is one of the most picturesque villages in Spain, as you'll discover on this evening tour. Nestled between the sea and the mountains, it's a classic, whitewashed pueblo that provides a glimpse into authentic Andalusian culture and life. Explore its narrow and winding alleys, pretty plazas and more. To round off the visit, there's a tasting of local tapas.

Kick off with a visit to a viewpoint in the new part of Vejer, followed by a walk through the beautiful old town. You'll wander along cobblestone streets, discovering hidden patios, secret corners and delightful houses, while our knowledgeable guide provides insight into the town's rich history and cultural heritage.

Your guided walk includes a visit to Plaza de España, one of the prettiest village squares in the country. After exploring the town, we'll indulge in tapas made with local products in a typical Vejer bar. There's also free time for you to poke around on your own and maybe grab a souvenir or two.

Winding alleyways, centuries-old architecture and world-famous wine – Jerez de la Frontera has it all. And this half-day guided tour is the ideal way to get a real flavour for the city. You'll kick things off with a relaxed troll through the city centre, where the city's blend of Christian and Moorish heritage is showcased in its architecture.First up is the Alcazar of Jerez, an 11th-century fortress built during the Islamic period. You'll get a good look at this place's exterior, with its impressive towers and gardens. Just around the corner is the Cathedral of Jerez, featuring a mix of Gothic, Baroque and Neoclassical styles.From there, you'll head to Plaza del Arenal, where locals like to gather for coffee and a chat, as well as the occasional Flamenco performance. Then, it's on to the Central Market, piled high with fresh product, seafood and spices – perfect for getting a feel for everyday life in Jerez.Next, it's time to dive into the world of tabancos – old-school wine taverns that embody the spirit of old Jerez. In two of these cosy spots, you'll sip on Sherry wines and tuck into classic tapas like chicarrones. The latter is pork belly seasoned with garlic, oregano and paprika, then slow-cooked or fried until it's crispy on the outside and melt-in-the-mouth inside. Throughout the whole tour, your guide will share stories of Jerez's past and explain how wine helped shape the city into the vibrant place it is today. Rock of Gibraltar Tour with Dolphin Watching Cruise

A quirky potpourri of the familiar and the unusual, Gibraltar is a must-visit. This tour is a roll call of its star attractions – the Barbary apes, the Rock and Main Street. And to top it off, you'll sail around the Bay of Gibraltar for the chance to spot dolphins. Rosa, one of our expert local guides, says, ‘Gibraltar's monkeys are the most accommodating wildlife around. Unlike dolphins, you don't have to search for them – they come looking for you, especially if you're holding food.'The fun kicks off with a boat trip in the bay to look out for dolphins. Three species – bottlenose, common and striped – are known to frolic in these waters. Then, back on dry land, head for a guided minibus tour of the Rock of Gibraltar, which juts 426 metres above the Mediterranean. You'll stop at Europa Point, where there are many famous monuments, a mosque and a historic Christian shrine. Plus, you'll also visit the Rock's recently renovated St Michael's Cave, which now hosts an auditorium.At the Upper Rock nature reserve, you'll meet the free-roaming Barbary apes – Europe's only wild monkeys. Rosa adds, ‘There are about 300 monkeys on the Rock. A local legend says that if the monkeys disappear, Gibraltar will stop being British.' Back at ground level, Gibraltar's town centre makes a point of being more British than Britain itself. Head to Main Street, where many of the British high street chains have outlets, for a mooch around its duty-free shops.
