Bei dieser Tour lassen sich zwei Fliegen mit einer Klappe schlagen, denn es geht zu zwei der Jamaika Highlights schlechthin. Lassen Sie sich von einer Tarzan-ähnlichen Seilschaukel in die exotischen Blue Hole-Höhlen schwingen, bevor es hoch auf die Dunn's River Wasserfälle geht.

Wir beginnen mit einer Fahrt durch üppig grüne Landschaften zum Blue Hole – einem idealen Spot für Insta-Bilder. Erkunden Sie eine nahe gelegene Höhle, schwingen Sie sich wie Tarzan in eines von drei Becken und genießen Sie ein kühles Bad in dieser Mineralquelle. Nach einem köstlichen lokalen Mittagessen fahren wir zu den Dunn's River Wasserfällen - einem der Stars des Bond-Films Dr. No. No. Bewundern Sie die 180 Meter hohe Felstreppe, an der die Wassermengen herunterrasseln und folgen Sie Ihrem Guide nach oben.

Glücklicherweise ist es ein einfacher Weg zum Gipfel und jeder, vom Kleinkind bis zum Senior, kann es versuchen.     Dunn's River Falls & Blue Hole sind eigentlich sehr schön. Nur hat man viel zu wenig Zeit die Natur zu genießen. Auf der Hinfahrt vom RIU Negril saßen wir fast 6h im Bus und hielten dann noch an einem Shop um einzukaufen. Völlig unnötig. Es gab zwischen durch ein Mittagessen was gut war. Badeschuhe sind auf der Tour ein muss. Tour auf deutsch gebucht und englisch bekommen. Englisch Kenntnisse muss man unbedingt haben sonst kommt man nicht weiter.

    tolle Landschaft, tolle Wasserfälle, am Wochenende leider zu voll. Der Transfer verlief gut, der Reiseführer hatte einen gelangweilten Gesichtsausdruck, aber er hatte uns auf dem Weg zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten etwas über die Geschichte Jamaikas und seiner Helden erzählt. Egal wohin Sie gehen oder was Sie tun, Trinkgeld wird überall groß verlangt.

    Absolut sehenswert und atemberaubend, leider etwas zeitlich knapp begrenzt und Zwischenstopps zum teuren einkaufen bei überteuerten Geschäften unnötig. Aber insgesamt schöner Ausflug, netter Guide mit vielen Infos, leider nicht auf deutsch verfügbar.

    Blue Hole ist die lange Fahrt von Nigril nicht wert. Etwas ins Wasser springen, wer das nicht mag hat keine Alternative, z.B. einfach etwas ins Wasser sitzen. Dunns River ist schön und macht auch Spaß den Wasserfall hochzulaufen. Hand in Hand als Kette zu gehen halte ich für übertrieben, gab genug, die einzeln hochgelaufen sind. Der Ablauf war durchgetaktet. Obwohl Umkleiden vorhanden, war das im Ablauf nicht vorgesehen und wir mussten mit nassen Badehosen zurück fahren.

    Die Guides waren sehr gut drauf und haben Spaß verbreitet. Beide Events sind eine klare Empfehlung von mir. Etwas negativ : die Tour wurde als deutschsprachig verkauft, war dann aber doch in englisch. Die Einschränkung war aber nicht gravierend.

You'll plant a tree as part of a programme to support reforestation and sustainable farming in this part of Jamaica.
