Beschreibung

Das Leben auf Stromboli wird von dem aktiven Vulkan beherrscht, welcher der Insel ihren Namen gibt. Nach der Überfahrt von Tropea können Sie am Nachmittag das Dorf San Vincenzo erkunden, bevor Sie versuchen, den Feuerregen der "Sciara del fuoco" am Nachthimmel zu bestaunen.

Sobald Sie das tyrrhenische Meer erreicht haben, wird sich Stromboli im frühen Nachmittagslicht vor Ihnen erheben. Sie legen in San Vincenzo an und haben Zeit, den Ort mit seinen weiß getünchten Häusern an einem Hang zu erkunden, der von der beeindruckenden Kirche San Vincenzo dominiert wird. Von hier aus genießen Sie einen herrlichen Blick auf den zerklüfteten Felsen von Strombolicchio mit seinem weißen Leuchtturm.

Bei Einbruch der Dunkelheit gehen Sie an Bord Ihres Bootes und umrunden Stromboli. Mit etwas Glück werden Sie Zeuge des Naturschauspiels der Sciara del fuoco - des "Feuerstroms" -, der die Nacht von Stromboli erhellt.
